What
do you get when you have a fisherman who also happens
to be a chemist, and he’s fed up with using live-well
additives that do not live up to expectations? You get
someone who goes into his lab and creates his own. “Keep ‘em
Alive” was created exactly this way.
Todd Sumner, a competitive bass fisherman and winner of over 50 tournaments,
including the 2007 Wal-Mart BFL at Lake Gaston, designed and made “Keep ‘em
Alive.” The mortality rate for largemouth and smallmouth
was entirely too high; therefore, after much trial and error and finally
one full year of fishing and zero dead fish…well, you can fill
in the blanks.
If used during the
course of the day “Keep ‘em Alive” will
prevent fish mortality. Since fish are a finite resource
we should all strive to “Keep ‘em
Alive”to Release ‘em Alive.
